Adjusters Asia is a world leader in the development of advanced online
applications, software and Internet technology for the financial services
industry worldwide.</span></p>
<p><span class="cm">Like our other insurance directories, the North America
Insurance Directory is a comprehensive listing of companies, insurers,
associations, brokers, agents, independent adjusters, marine surveyors
and other organizations in countries throughout the world. </span></p>
<p><span class="cm">It is the fourth nonprofit site of its kind worldwide,
permitting insurance companies, associations, claims adjusters and general
services groups to list their company or organization absolutely free.</span></p>

<p><span class="cm">The directory has its origins in the contact list of
one of our own independent loss adjusters. As the list grew in size,a
decision was made to transfer the information, first to a database on
a single workstation, and then to an intranet. Others, however, soon wanted
access to this same information while in the field, and to accommodate
their needs, the database was moved to an extranet. Data retrieval, however,
proved to be a somewhat difficult task, in that some knowledge of programming
was required. To overcome this, a user-friendly interface, along with
an administrative panel, was built to facilitate the input of new information,
as well as the editing of existing data.</span></p>
